Get DD-Ready: How to Survive Your First Due Diligence and Secure the Deal – Workshop by KeyMove and Kristyna Mikulas Advokati
11:25 – 12:25
Adam Prerovsky Diana Urbaskova Adam Prerovsky, Diana Urbaskova

For most biotech founders, the first investor Due Diligence is where a promising company is either validated or quietly derailed. This 60-minute interactive workshop demystifies the DD process (at least the legal part): what investors examine, why it matters, and how the findings feed directly into your valuation and the transaction documents. Using a sample (fictional) DD report on a biotech startup, we walk through the most relevant areas step by step, so you can see how legal risk becomes a real commercial consequence. You will leave with a practical understanding of how to prepare your company — and a one-page checklist to apply to your own business.

Enabling the Next Generation of CAR-T Therapies: The Critical Role of Plasmid DNA and mRNA Manufacturing – Workshop by ProBio
13:20 – 13:50
Sami Ullah Sami Ullah

As CAR-T technologies continue to evolve, the industry is moving beyond traditional approaches toward faster, safer, and more scalable manufacturing strategies. High-quality plasmid DNA and mRNA have become essential building blocks for gene editing, vector production, and emerging non-viral CAR-T platforms. Drawing on ProBio's experience in plasmid DNA, mRNA, viral vector, and GMP manufacturing, this session will highlight how optimized starting materials can accelerate development timelines and support the successful translation of innovative CAR-T therapies from concept to clinic.

Turning Raw Lab Outputs into Actual Insights – Workshop by CDD Vault
14:00 – 14:30
Nicola Vettore Nicola Vettore

As laboratories scale through automation, the primary bottleneck often shifts from physical throughput to data integration. Fragmented tools create "data silos" that require manual intervention and hinder real-time decision-making. This talk explores how a unified informatics foundation bridges the gap between automated hardware and the digital record. By integrating core functions—such as entity registration, inventory management, and assay capture—platforms like CDD Vault provide a scalable "single source of truth." We will discuss how leveraging APIs and FAIR principles ensures that automated data remains contextualized and reproducible. Attendees will learn how a connected digital ecosystem eliminates manual workflows and transforms raw automated output into standardized, research-ready insights.

Bridging Funding Gaps in Clinical Research by IOCB Foundation
15:35 – 16:05
Dusan Brinzanik Dusan Brinzanik

Groundbreaking clinical research does not always fit conventional funding schemes or schedules. Promising projects may be too early to qualify for standard funding, while more advanced research can face unexpected experiments, urgent purchases or other essential steps that existing grants cannot cover quickly enough. IOCB Foundation's voucher program offers rapid and flexible funding of up to CZK 200,000 to help bridge these gaps and keep research moving forward. We will briefly introduce the program, explain what it can support and how it works, and invite discussion on possible collaboration.
